Mystic Mountain Distillery drew their inspiration for their Ace's High Bourbon from the notorious Colorado outlaw Black Jack Ketchum. This craft whiskey is as bold as he was with his portrait adorning the whiskey’s label. After being distilled five times, Colorado sweet water was added to each batch and filtered eight times through charcoal. Aged long enough to adopt lightly wooded flavors, this whiskey has a smooth finish and enticing qualities sought after by whiskey lovers all over the world! The aromas are of cream cheese, caramel, anise, and sweet pastries leading into a fruity, medium-body with a dryness balanced by buttercream flavors. Notes of licorice, tea leaf and peppercorn lead into a woody and smooth whiskey. Perfect for enjoying neat, this bourbon is also perfect for an Irish coffee.
