Maker's Mark 46 was recently (2026) recognized as World’s Best Finished Bourbon at the World Whiskies Awards. Other bottles have earned Gold/Double Gold awards at the International Spirits Challenge, International Wine and Spirits Competition, London Spirits Competition, and San Francisco World Spirits Competition. 

The distillery itself was the first in the world to receive certification for soil health and regenerative agriculture in 2023. In 2022, it was the largest distillery in the world and the first in Kentucky to achieve a B Corp Certification.
