Sunburn is the first specialty rum from Montauk Distilling Co., a small family-owned distillery on Long Island, New York. It now works from Riverhead.

It starts as hand-crafted, pot-distilled rum made from molasses. The rum is then infused with smooth, bold cinnamon. A Montauk sunset inspired it.

Expect sweet, spicy cinnamon from the first sniff. The sip is warm and a little tangy. It leaves a touch of heat and the taste of cinnamon on your tongue.

Sip it neat or on the rocks. It also works with root beer or hot apple cider.
