As a standalone Bourbon, Burning Chair is aromatically intriguing with brown sugar, caramel, butterscotch, and toasty oak. We received a bottle as a gift and had to give it a try. Our first cocktail of choice was a whiskey sour. Combining lemon juice, sugar, Burning Chair, and, of course, egg whites, we had a finished product that seemed to amaze our viewers. So much so that we happened to catch the attention of Dave Phinney’s son. After just one conversation with the S+C team, my dad and I knew that this would be a long-lasting, synergistic relationship. ~Johnny Drinks Jr." The Johnny Drink’s Exclusive Blend is a combination of three wine-finished bourbons. With sincere intentions, we chose to go with a 60% bourbon grenache, 30% bourbon cab, and 10% bourbon zin blend. The palate is smooth and lush with loads of vanilla bean, baking spices, maple, and baked apples. The finish is long and aromatic, begging for another sip. We take pride in providing you with a bourbon that lives up to its expectations. Sourcing Tiny lots are procured from Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. Each barrel brings something special to the final blend. Barrels Aged for a minimum of four years in new charred American oak barrels and then uniquely finished in wine barrels from Dave’s Napa Valley Cabernet projects.
