Description

Silver Tequila, also known as Tequila Blanco or Plata, is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, carefully grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, in the region called Los Altos. It is usually double or triple distilled to achieve a smooth and refined taste. Because it is unaged or only briefly rested, it has a clear, transparent color with a slight silver shine. This tequila comes in a standard 750ml bottle and has an alcohol content of around 40% (80 proof).

On the nose, it offers aromas of cooked agave with delicate floral and herbal notes, along with subtle hints of vanilla or black pepper. When sipped, it delivers a clean and smooth taste featuring flavors of agave, herbs, flowers, citrus, and occasionally a light touch of woodiness or minerals. The finish is refreshing and smooth, often leaving a warm or slightly spicy sensation.

Silver Tequila is versatile and can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the perfect base for classic cocktails like Margaritas and Palomas. It comes in a unique “Punta Diamante” bottle with sandblasting and a diamond-cut cap and won a Double Gold medal at the 2009 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It is crafted by Casa Don Ramón, a respected tequila producer in Jalisco, Mexico.
