ButterflyCannon Rosa Tequila comes from Biggar and Leith, which was founded in New York in 2016 by Elwyn Gladstone, an industry veteran. With a goal to bring high quality tequila, wine and other goods which come from family-owned businesses around the world, the company began collaborating with Mark Teasdale in 2018 and has continued to launch several successful brands. The team at Biggar and Leith designed Butterfly Cannon tequila before its launch in 2021. The tequila is named in reference to the great monarch butterfly migration from the United States all the way to Mexico and is produced in Destiladora del Valle de Tequila. Created as an approachable tequila meant for crafting and mixing delicious cocktails, Butterfly Cannon Tequila is made from 7 to 8 year old agaves traditionally slow roasted, mashed, fermented and distilled. From their line of Blue, Rosa and Cristalino comes Butterfly Canon Rosa, a pink grapefruit infused silver tequila. On the nose are fresh and bright citrus aromas, and on the palate are tart and citrusy pink grapefruit notes that balance perfectly with sweet cooked agave flavors. The beautiful, light pink hue and enticing palate make for eye-catching and mouth-watering cocktails.
