Akashi Ume Whisky is a uniquely Japanese whisky that infuses a mature whisky with freshly harvested green Ume plums and rock sugar to create a spirit that brings to mind the traditional Japanese shochu-based Umeshu spirit. Six months of resting allows the tart green plums to infuse both sweet and sour flavors into the whisky, creating a delicious balance that straddles the line between liqueur and whisky. Excellent on the rocks or as a highball.
