About Arran

Arran Single Malt is produced at Lochranza Distillery, which was founded in 1995 at the northern end of Scotland’s Isle of Arran. The distillery uses water that begins as rain at Loch Na Davie and travels through the Easan Biorach burn. Its barley arrives from mainland maltsters and is milled at Lochranza. There's a particular importance on cask quality because the spirit gets its color and flavor from wood during maturation. Having said that, Arran does not add caramel coloring or use chill filtration, helping retain the whisky’s natural character.

The entry point into the range and the bottle that most clearly introduces the distillery’s house style, expect a combination of fresh fruit, citrus, malt, vanilla, and restrained oak rather than dense smoke or aggressive wood. Its 10-year maturation gives the whisky enough time to develop balance without covering the bright character of the spirit.

The Bodega places sherry-cask influence at the center of the experience. Compared with the 10 Year Old, it moves toward darker fruit, baking spice, chocolate-like richness, and a fuller texture. Arran Single Malt Scotch Whisky 18 Years Old

Arran Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a more mature interpretation for drinkers who want the distillery’s fruit-driven character with deeper oak integration. Additional aging can bring dried fruit, polished wood, spice, caramel, and a rounder texture while retaining Arran’s recognizable clarity.
