Description
The Glenmorangie distillery was established on the Dornoch Firth in Scotland in 1843 by brothers William and John Matheson. Glenmorangie has honed its craft for nearly 175 years, perfecting its unique delicate nature and fruitiness while imparting an array of flavor in each of their whiskeys. Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare Single Malt
Scotch Whisky embodies their house style and will easily captivate any single malt collector. This Single Malt Scotch Whisky is aged for fifteen years in used bourbon casks after its distillation. Following, approximately 30% of the whisky is then finished for three more years in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. After both the original and double-barreled have rested for a toal 18 years, they are blended together, producing this spectacular, rare scotch. The aroma has fruity notes of mandarin, banana and orchard fruits, leading into a well-textured palate with flavors of apricots and vanilla with nutty notes and hints of raisins and sweet cocoa. The finish is long, with lingering flavors of citrus and almond. Enjoy this ultra-rare
Scotch whisky neat!
