Glenmorangie Lasanta is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky crafted in the Highlands of Scotland by the renowned Glenmorangie Distillery. This whisky is aged for 12 years, meaning the youngest spirit in the bottle is at least that old. The name “Lasanta” comes from Gaelic and means “warmth and passion,” which perfectly describes its rich and inviting character.

It is matured for 10 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, giving it smooth notes of citrus and vanilla, and then finished for two more years in Spanish sherry casks for added depth. The Oloroso sherry casks bring nutty and spicy flavors, while the Pedro Ximénez (PX) casks add sweetness and rich dried fruit notes. Bottled at 43% ABV, it uses a touch of caramel coloring for consistency and is chill-filtered to stay clear when cold.

Lasanta offers a richer, sweeter, and spicier profile than Glenmorangie’s classic whiskies. You’ll notice aromas of raisins, chocolate-covered nuts, honeycomb, and warm spices like cinnamon and clove. The taste is full and smooth, with hints of butterscotch, sultanas, dark chocolate, and orange zest, leading to a long, warm finish with notes of spiced orange and hazelnut praline.
