Every bottle of Fortaleza Tequila is a masterclass in artisanal distillation. The process begins with 100% blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in stone ovens for 36 hours. The agave is then crushed using a traditional tahona (stone wheel), a labor-intensive technique that extracts juice while preserving natural flavors. Fermentation occurs in open-air wood tanks before double distillation in copper pot stills—ensuring purity, character, and complexity with each batch. The final product is bottled by hand, complete with rustic glass blown by Mexican artisans.
