Tres Generaciones Añejo Cristalino is a clear añejo tequila made at La Perseverancia Distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. It uses 100% blue Weber agave and is distilled three times. The tequila rests for at least 12 months in American white oak barrels. It is then rock filtered, which takes out the color and leaves it crystal clear.

The name honors three generations of the Sauza family. Don Cenobio Sauza started the family business, and his son Don Eladio and grandson Don Francisco Javier carried it on. The Tres Generaciones brand itself was created in 1973 to celebrate that legacy. This cristalino joined the range in 2022.

Bring the glass to your nose and you will find vanilla, caramel, a little citrus peel and light oak. The sip feels sweet and creamy, with soft wood in the background. A touch of cinnamon spice keeps it lively. The finish ends on a gentle smoky note.

The Tres Generaciones family has collected medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition over the years. This cristalino earned a Silver Medal and 87 points from the Beverage Testing Institute in 2022.
