Taittinger Brut Réserve is the flagship non-vintage Champagne of the Taittinger house, celebrated for its light, elegant, and refined character. Crafted in the Champagne region of France under strict AOC rules, this genuine Champagne embodies quality and tradition. The blend features a high proportion of Chardonnay (around 40%), which adds freshness and finesse, balanced by Pinot Noir (35%) and Pinot Meunier (25%) that bring body and fruitiness.
To maintain a consistent flavor year after year, grapes from different vintages are expertly combined. Classified as Brut, it is dry with only a touch of sweetness (around 9g/L). The wine is aged on its lees for 3 to 4 years—far longer than required—creating a silky texture and delicate, persistent bubbles. Its aroma is fresh and inviting, with hints of peach, white flowers, vanilla, and brioche. On the palate, it offers lively citrus and fruit notes with a smooth, clean finish.
Made using the traditional Champagne method, it reflects Taittinger’s dedication to craftsmanship. Still family-owned, Taittinger remains one of the last great independent Champagne houses. Regularly earning high critic scores, this Champagne is best enjoyed well-chilled, either as an aperitif or alongside seafood, light dishes, or soft cheeses.
