You’re looking at an Añejo tequila that’s been given time to mature properly. It rests for 24 months in charred American oak whiskey barrels—twice as long as the standard one-year requirement. That extra aging brings depth and warmth you can taste in every sip.
Suerte makes this tequila from 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco. Highland agave is naturally sweeter and more citrus-forward, and you’ll notice that character right away. The distillery uses a traditional tahona stone wheel to crush the cooked agave, which pulls out more natural flavor than modern methods. The piñas roast slowly in brick ovens for more than two days, letting the sugars caramelize and develop richness. After that, the spirit is double-distilled to keep it clean, smooth, and full of agave expression.
You’ll taste caramel, vanilla, maple, butterscotch, ripe fruit, and gentle spice with a touch of chocolate and mint. The aroma is rich with oak and sweet agave, and the amber color comes naturally from the barrels.
It sits at 40% ABV (80 proof) and comes in the classic 750ml bottle. You’ll enjoy it most neat or over ice. The name “Suerte” means “Luck,” a nod to Aztec legends of the 400 rabbits.
