San Matias Rey Sol Extra Añejo Tequila gives you a rich, slow-sipping experience. It rests for six years in French oak barrels. You can taste that depth from the first sip. A soft sweetness comes first, and then oak takes the lead. Dried fruit, vanilla, and a touch of dark chocolate follow. The oak adds structure without hiding the softer notes.

The aroma is just as inviting. You’ll smell oak, vanilla, and dried fruit. Hazelnut and roasted almond come through as it opens. The finish is long and smooth, with chocolate and almond lingering.

Casa San Matías makes this tequila from 100% agave grown in Jalisco, Mexico. An extra añejo must age for more than three years in oak. Rey Sol goes well beyond that. It comes in a striking sun-shaped decanter.
