This Añejo tequila comes from Jalisco, Mexico, where authentic tequila is produced, and it is made using 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in the highlands of Los Altos. These highland agaves are known for their sweeter and fruitier character, and they are slowly roasted in traditional clay ovens to bring out even more natural sweetness. As an Añejo, it is aged between one and three years, typically resting for 14 to 24 months.
It develops its depth through a unique combination of American and French oak barrels, and this dual-oak approach adds layers of richness and complexity. The spirit is also triple distilled, which is unusual for tequila and results in a remarkably smooth and refined texture. Presented in a handcrafted crystal bottle, often featuring artistic glasswork inside, it stands out as part of an ultra-premium reserve line.
The aging gives it a warm golden-amber color, while the aroma carries notes of vanilla, caramel, oak, and hints of chocolate or toasted nuts. On the palate, it is full-bodied and balanced with flavors of butterscotch, tobacco, chocolate, and sweet cooked agave. The finish is long, warm, and dry with lingering spice, making it ideal for sipping neat or over ice. Bottled at 80 proof, it has earned high praise and multiple international awards for its exceptional quality.
