Merry Edwards Winery is celebrated for its exceptional Pinot Noir and was founded by Merry Edwards, one of California’s trailblazing winemakers. The wine hails from the cool-climate Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, a region famous for producing world-class Pinot Noir. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, this red wine comes in a standard 750ml bottle and reflects the perfect balance of depth, elegance, and longevity. It’s an appellation blend, bringing together five Pinot Noir clones fermented as separate lots to create remarkable complexity and harmony.

In the glass, it shows a garnet hue and rich fruit flavors such as black cherry, black raspberry, and plum, complemented by notes of vanilla cola, fresh thyme, and a hint of milk chocolate. The mouthfeel is soft and lush, while bright acidity and firm tannins carry through to a lengthy, spice-tinged finish.

Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels—53% of them new for the 2022 vintage—the wine achieves a refined structure and layered depth. Bottled at 14.5% alcohol, it has drawn strong praise from critics. It pairs beautifully with roasted duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, or herb-crusted lamb.
