Description

After shutting down during prohibition, the Kentucky Owl Bardstown distillery was revived in 2014. Founded in 1879 by C.M. Dedman, his descendant revived the brand before it was acquired by Stoli Group in 2017. For the first time, they are releasing The Wiseman Bourbon, a collaboration between Kentucky Owl and Bardstown Bourbon Company. The blend includes their 4 year wheat and high-rye bourbon as well as 5 ½ and 8 ½ year Kentucky bourbons. The Wiseman is an artfully balanced bourbon with soft wheat and spiced high-rye notes. This smooth and complex bourbon has a caramel and spiced aroma leading into the palate with additional notes of allspice, citrus, and oak. Intricate yet gentle, Wiseman was designed to sip however you like; on the rocks, neat, or in your favorite bourbon cocktail.
