Description

In 1867 Isaac Wolfe Bernheim, a US German Immigrant, co-founded Bernheim Brothers and began producing whiskey known as I.W. Harper. Officially around since 1872, I.W. Harper Distilling Company began selling their whiskey exclusively overseas in the early 90s when the demand for the spirit rose within Asia. However, fate would have it that in 2015 the New Bernheim Distillery would begin producing the whiskey domestically after purchasing I.W. Harper brand. IW Harper Cask Strength Bourbon is a smooth and classy sipping whiskey with an intense cask strength characteristic. On the nose is leather, dried fruits, caramel and vanilla notes which all lead into the palate alongside cinnamon, baking spices and anise. With a light heat, the finish ends with sweet dark fruits notes.
