El Tesoro Anejo Tequila is slowly aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for 2 to 3 years giving it a remarkably full and balanced flavor with smoky oak, peppery agave, and soft floral and vanilla notes. Winner of the Gold Medal at the 2018 International Spirits Competition, El Tesoro Anejo is produced in Los Altos in Jalisco at the famous La Alteña Distiller. Steeped in history, this distillery was first established in 1937 by Don Felipe Camarena and is known for fully embracing the traditional tequila making process. Smooth and complex, El Tesoro Anejo Tequila is an excellent sipping tequila that is meant to be savored slowly.
