About Arette

Introduced in 1986 by Eduardo Orendain and Jaime Orendain, Arette is made at the historic El Llano distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, where the family’s production story began in the early 1900s. 

The name honors Arete, the horse associated with Mexican Olympic equestrian success, connecting the bottle to national pride as well as regional tradition. Arette uses agave grown near Tequila and offers both approachable core releases and a more craft-focused Artesanal line.
