Arette Artesanal Suave Blanco gives you a clean, honest taste of blue agave. It's made at El Llano Distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. The Orendain family has run El Llano since 1900. Brothers Eduardo and Jaime Orendain launched Arette there in 1986.

The agave grows around Tequila in rich volcanic soil. The piñas slow-cook for 48 hours in brick ovens. Fermentation happens in open-air tanks with native yeast. The spirit is then double distilled in copper-coil pot stills. The Suave version rests a few extra months in steel to soften it.

Your first sip shows bright, sweet agave and a touch of citrus. Give it a moment and you'll notice herbal hints, a mineral edge and a little white pepper. The finish is clean, with no bitterness. VinePair scored it 93 points and named it to its 2025 Top 50.
