The Extra Añejo you see before you is made with 100% estate-ripened Blue Weber agave that is cooked low and slow in stone and brick-lined ovens for twenty-two hours and fermented in stainless steel tanks, and double-distilled in copper pots. After which it is allowed to age for an average of 6 years in used bourbon barrels made of American white oak.

The taste you get from Volans 6 Year Extra Añejo is deep-cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, and baking spice. For aroma, vanilla and caramel dominate the initial impression, followed by a delightful medley of baking spices and toasted oak.
