You get a bright, clean pear flavor the moment you open the bottle. This Austrian fruit liqueur keeps things simple and honest. It’s made from Williams pears—also called Bartlett pears—picked at their peak from family orchards in South Tirol and the Danube Valley. The distillers press the fresh pears for juice, then blend it with an eau-de-vie made from the same fruit. You taste real pears, not syrupy sweetness, because they keep the sugar low and the proof slightly higher than most liqueurs.
You’ll notice a clear liquid with a pale golden hue, a smooth feel, and a finish that carries a light, spirit-driven bite. Ripe pear and soft floral notes show up in every sip. At 24% ABV, it strikes a nice balance between flavor and strength.
You can use it in almost anything. Mix it with gin, vodka, or rum, top it with soda water, or splash it into sparkling wine. Bartenders rely on it because it blends well without taking over the drink. If you like a twist on classics, try it in a Pear Martini, a Pear Margarita, or even a fresh take on a French 75. Store it in a cool, dark spot, and it will stay at its best for up to a couple of years after opening.
