Deep in the heart of South America in remote Nicaragua, this golden rum is made from locally grown sugarcane and utilizes a number of local ingredients such as fruit, honey, toasted nuts, and is aged in South American white oak barrels.

The spirit is distilled in a continuous column still process and is then left to age in spiced barrels, seasoned and coated with previous batches of whiskey and bourbon. Ron Flor de Caña is a full-bodied amber rum that is reminiscent of many other molasses type rums; the dominant flavor profiles in the spirit are red fruits, honey, and toasted nuts with a woody aftertaste of vanilla and aged oak.
