    Description

    Patrón Añejo is an aged tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave in Jalisco, Mexico. Patrón rests it for 12 to 15 months in small white oak barrels. That time in wood rounds out the agave and adds real depth.

    Lift the glass and you get cooked agave, vanilla and caramel. The palate feels rich and velvety. Oak and sweet agave lead, with hints of chocolate and baking spice. The finish is long, with soft wood and a light sweetness.

    Sip it neat or on the rocks to enjoy the oak. It also makes a smooth Añejo Old Fashioned.

    Serve it with dark chocolate, caramel desserts, smoked nuts or grilled meats. If you mostly drink blanco, this is an easy first step into aged tequila.
