Description

Pantalones Organic Tequila Blanco is made from 100% Blue Weber agave. The agave is grown and harvested in the fields of Amatitán, in Jalisco, Mexico. The tequila is certified organic by the USDA and also certified gluten-free. It is made under NOM 1614 and bottled at 40% alcohol.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves McConaughey are the husband-and-wife team behind the brand. They wanted a premium organic tequila that never feels stuffy. That relaxed attitude shows up from the label to the glass.

On the nose, you get cooked and raw agave with a little caramel. Herbal notes, light guava and lime follow. The palate is sweet and silky, led by cooked agave, caramel and soft fruit. A touch of honey and citrus keeps it bright. It finishes smooth, clean and crisp.

Critics have taken notice too. The Beverage Testing Institute awarded it a Gold medal and 90 points in 2024.

This tequila is easy to sip neat or on the rocks. It also shines in cocktails. The brand’s own recipes include an organic Margarita and the Fancy Pants Paloma. Serve it with ceviche, grilled fish or tacos for a laid-back dinner with friends.
