Padre Azul started when HP Eder from Austria and Adriana Alvarez from Jalisco fell in love and blended their cultures into one idea: create a tequila that feels authentic and proudly crafted. Eder grew up around distilling, and when he discovered the tradition behind real Mexican tequila, he wanted to share it with Europe. With Adriana and her father, he created Padre Azul.
Padre Azul Reposado uses agaves aged 8–10 years, then cooks, ferments, and rests them in ex-bourbon barrels for at least eight months. You’ll taste smooth notes of cooked agave, pear, citrus, vanilla, caramel, and a touch of coconut and white chocolate. The finish is soft, warm, and slightly sweet.
Each bottle is handmade and topped with a solid-metal skull—an homage to Día de Muertos. Sip it neat, share it with friends, or mix it into your favorite tequila cocktails.
