Description
Oban 21 Year Single Malt Whisky is made using 100% barley, which is malted to the Oban's standards and guidelines. The barley is malted, dried, and fermented and is slightly smoky, has a malty flavour, and gives a twice-distilled through Oban's lantern-shaped copper-pot stills. This
Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the third limited release whisky produced by Oban Distillery in the course of its 219-year history. Oban 21 Year was matured for 21 years in rejuvenated American oak and second-fill ex-bodega casks being bottled at cask strength. The
scotch whiskey has a copper-golden colour, along with aromas of warm gingerbread, caramel, maple syrup, and spicy apples. The aromas carry scents of creamy vanilla, barley, stewed pears, and ginger on the palate. This leads to a finish accented by a salty tang and lemony zest. This is a rare bottle and only 2,860 bottles have ever been produced.
