You’re getting a true Champagne here, made only in the Champagne region of France under strict AOC rules. Nicolas Feuillatte produces it through a large cooperative of more than 5,000 growers, which helps the house keep its style consistent year after year. This is a Brut Rosé, so you taste a dry, refreshing sparkling wine with a natural pink hue. The color comes from adding a small amount of still red wine to the blend before the bubbles form.
You’ll find a mix of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and a touch of Chardonnay, which creates a round and balanced profile. Most bottles are non-vintage, so the winery blends grapes from multiple years to keep the flavor steady. Expect bright red fruit notes—raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry—and a hint of citrus or rose petals. The wine ages on lees for about two to three years, giving it a soft texture and a light toasty finish.
Serve it chilled, around 45–50°F, for the best experience. You can enjoy it on its own or pair it with sushi, spicy chicken, cured meats, or light desserts. It usually sits at 12% ABV and often earns strong critic ratings in the low 90s.
