Description
With a core philosophy of respecting Mexican tradition while going beyond boundaries, Komos Tequila strives to create premium high-end
tequilas with a distinctive range of qualities. They also have a commitment to sustainability and with the help of the Orendain family, they pioneer ways to repurpose byproducts for the local community. Komos sources agave of only the highest quality from both the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco to craft their premium tequila. They begin by roasting the agave in traditional stone ovens, combining it with fresh spring water, and double-distilling in copper pot stills. To craft their
extra Anejo, the resulting
blanco is aged for three years in both French oak white wine barrels and American Bourbon barrels. The outcome is a complex and luxurious tequila with inviting aromas of peaches, pecan, apricots, caramel, vanilla and a light spice. The palate is vibrant with notes of citrus, candied ginger, and toasted pecans. Sip this opulent tequila neat, on the rocks, or elevate a classic cocktail.
