This Straight Rye Whiskey offers a truly distinctive drinking experience, thanks to its special barrel finish. Crafted in New York by Hudson Whiskey at the Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery, it is made from 95% New York rye and 5% malted barley, ensuring a robust and authentic rye character. The whiskey is aged for at least three years in new, charred American oak barrels before receiving its unique finishing treatment.

These barrels are sent to Scotland to age peated Scotch and are then returned to New York, imparting a remarkable smoky depth alongside traditional rye spice. The result is a vibrant and flavorful whiskey with bright, fruity notes, complemented by hints of black pepper, mint, and rye spice, all layered over a rich smoky peat profile.

Aromas of smoke, vanilla, apricot, and brown sugar add further complexity, while the finish is long-lasting, smoky, and slightly sweet.
