Champagne Gosset, founded in 1584 in Aÿ, is the oldest wine house in Champagne, France. It is known for its long tradition and expert winemaking. Their Non-Vintage Brut Rosé Champagne is elegant, balanced, and full of character. It comes from the Champagne AOC region and is made from a careful mix of Chardonnay (about 50–58%) and Pinot Noir (around 42–50%). The soft pink color is created by adding a small amount of still red Pinot Noir wine from top Grand Cru villages like Ambonnay and Bouzy.
This Champagne is classified as Brut, with a low sugar level of about 8–9 g/L, which makes it crisp and refreshing. Gosset chooses not to use malolactic fermentation, helping the wine keep its bright acidity, fresh fruit flavors, and ability to age well. The grapes mostly come from top-quality Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs.
Aged for three to four years on its lees, the wine gains smooth texture and rich complexity. It has a beautiful salmon-pink color with ruby highlights and aromas of strawberries, raspberries, citrus, and peach. The taste is fresh, full, and well-balanced — perfect to enjoy with salmon, veal, poultry, or red fruit desserts.
