This tequila is an Añejo, meaning it’s an aged expression that offers a deep and refined character. Made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, it reflects the true essence of Mexico’s traditional tequila-making craft. The spirit is aged for at least 12 months in toasted white American oak barrels, which are sometimes deeply charred to enhance flavor. This careful aging gives the tequila its rich, deep amber color and adds warmth and depth to every sip.
Produced by Casa Herradura (NOM 1119) in Jalisco, Mexico, this tequila pays tribute to the Jimadores, the skilled workers who hand-harvest the agave plants. It has an alcohol content of 40% (80 proof) and comes in a 750ml bottle, making it perfect for both collectors and casual drinkers.
On the nose, you’ll find inviting aromas of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, hazelnut, and cinnamon. The taste is rich, smooth, and full-bodied, with layers of caramel, dark chocolate, oak, and spices. The finish is long, warm, and elegant, leaving hints of oak and cherry.
Double-distilled for exceptional smoothness, this Añejo tequila is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, though it also shines in premium cocktails like an Añejo Old Fashioned or a Blood Orange Margarita.
