It’s crafted at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, where Colonel Taylor’s legacy of craftsmanship lives on. As a Bottled-in-Bond whiskey, it is made under the rules laid down by the 1897 act, a guarantee of its quality and consistency. Bottled at exactly 100 proof (50% ABV), it ticks every box the bond rules require and spends a minimum of four years in the barrel, even though no age statement appears on the label.

Made only from rye and malted barley, with no corn, it stands apart from most Kentucky rye whiskeys.
