With the time invested, you are rewarded with a sip that is bold and complex. It opens up with oakiness and sweetness. You also get subtle vanilla notes and toasted oak. The finish is lovely, think warm notes of toffee that linger.

Eagle Rare is the only bourbon to ever win the double gold medal five times. The 12-Year itself has won over 90 awards and sits just in the middle as both an approachable bottle for newcomers and a nuanced sip for those looking for something more serious.
