The Don Julio Extra Añejo Tequila is a premium spirit crafted in the Jaliscan Highlands of Mexico and made with 100% Blue Weber Agave. Bottled in a 750ml bottle with 40% ABV (80 proof), it is aged for 36 months, meeting the minimum requirement for the Extra Añejo category. This tequila uses the Solera aging method, which blends tequilas of different ages to maintain a consistent and rich agave flavor. Initially aged in oak barrels, it is then finished in Madeira wine casks, giving it a unique and sophisticated taste. Created to honor Don Julio González, it is made from the last agave harvest planted by him and his family in 2006, making it a rare and limited-edition release.

Its deep amber color with golden highlights reflects the richness of its profile. On the nose, it offers aromas of toasted oak, caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and fresh agave, while the palate reveals a smooth and complex taste with notes of apricot, orange, dark chocolate, caramelized oak and sweet agave. The finish is long and smooth with lingering hints of oak and honeyed agave. This tequila is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, allowing its premium quality to shine in every sip.
