Don Julio Ultima Reserva Extra Anejo is a limited-quantity premium tequila, with a special etched lid and a thin and elegant bottle. With toasted oak and caramel aromas, a fruity apricot, orange, and agave palate and a smooth finish with lingering honeyed agave and spice, this limited-edition tequila is an ultimate celebration of the brand's upcoming 80th anniversary in 2022.

Don Julio Gonzalez opened his distillery, "La Primavera" in 1942 in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Don Julio created a new technique of planting each agave plant further apart so they can yield more sweetness per plant-giving each spirit crafted from agave farmed in such a manner a distinct flavor and feel. Aged for a total of 36 months in ex-bourbon oak casks, before being finished in barrels seasoned with Madeira wine, this extra anejo is rich and fruity, with complex layers of spice, toasted oak, and caramel.
