This Reposado (“rested”) Tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and comes in a standard 750ml bottle with an alcohol content of 40% (80 proof). It is aged in oak barrels for 6 to 10 months, giving it a smooth, velvety texture and a long, lingering finish. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of sweet, spicy, and smoky flavors with notes of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, roasted agave, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of pepper, while some tasters may also notice hints of green apple and earthy undertones. The aroma is equally inviting, featuring vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and subtle citrus and spice.
This tequila is made using traditional methods, including slow-cooking the agave in clay ovens and distilling it in copper pot stills, which ensures authentic flavor. Produced at NOM 1477 (Tequilera Puerta de Hierro) in El Arenal, Jalisco, Mexico, it reflects over 100 years of family heritage in crafting agave spirits. Versatile and approachable, it is excellent for sipping neat, enjoying on the rocks, or mixing into premium cocktails like Margaritas or Tequila Old Fashioneds. Considered a mid-range premium tequila, it is usually priced between $40 and $65 USD depending on location.
