Established in 1985 by legendary vintners Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, Decoy Sonoma has roots which run deep, Decoy Limited editions built from this rich winemaking heritage to produce their tremendous quality wines at remarkable prices. Their wines are ready-upon-release, with expressions of youthful charm and complexity. 2019 brought another exceptional vintage Cabernet Sauvignon to Napa Valley, resulting in a wine with alluring polish and poise! Decoy Sonoma Coast Limited Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted using grapes from some of the most acclaimed Napa Valley vineyards, including their own estate properties. Aged in French Oak barrels for 14 months, 40% New French Oak, this gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon is elegantly structured and impeccably balanced. With aromas of dark fruits such as blackberry and black cherry with hints of lavender and rustic spice, the palate is silky with fine-grained tannins and rich beret notes. The enlivening acidity carries over into a lush, lingering finish. For Pairing, the team at CWS suggests a prime rib roast or roasted duck breast with pecan purée.
