It is a blend of five hand-picked whiskies. They age in charred American white oak barrels. The nose brings red fruit, orchard fruit, vanilla, and light baking spice. On the palate you taste orchard fruit, white chocolate, rye spice, and toasted oak. Smooth caramel ties it all together. The finish is warm and balanced, with gentle cinnamon and apple. Next to standard Crown Royal, this is more mature and refined. It has a velvety texture and more layers of flavor.
