Clase Azul Gold Tequila is a rare, luxury tequila made with true artistry. Its decanter pairs hand-crafted glass with a ceramic base. Two hand-painted ribbons of 24-karat gold finish the design. Inside is a joven, which is a blend of unaged and aged tequilas. It starts with Clase Azul Plata, made from blue Weber agave in Jalisco, Mexico. A reposado rested in French oak joins it. So does an extra añejo aged about eight years. That extra añejo spends time in American whiskey casks, then in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

The flavor is complex but easy to enjoy. Expect cooked agave, fig, orange peel and toasted oak. Notes of caramel, dark chocolate and toasted nuts add depth.
