On the nose is sweet wood and crème fraîche with cold notes of roasted tea leaves, fennel, leather, eucalyptus and pine. The flavor of the dram transforms into an intensely salty mouthfeel with medicinal notes which flow into a rich fudge, tar, and peat smoke palette. The satisfyingly long finish is smoky, savory, sharp and intense. This 19 year scotch from a highly sought after collection is best by itself to experience the layered journey of flavor.
