TEQUILA BLISS

Tequila days are waiting; make a cocktail that will liven up any gathering. A ‘Keoki Coffee’ is strong and fierce. It’s made with 1 oz. tequila, 1 tsp. sugar, and coffee. Add the Best tequila Brand and sugar to a footed mug, fill with coffee, and then stir well. For a fruity freshness, try ‘La Bomba;’ it’s made with 1.5 oz. tequila, ½ Cointreau, 1.5 oz. pineapple juice, 1.5 oz. orange juice, and a splash of Grenadine. Shake it all together well with ice and then strain into a cocktail glass.

Have a pretty and wild drink to excite your palate; a ‘Long Beach Ice Tea’ is fun and tasty. It’s made with ½ oz. vodka, ½ oz. gin, ½ oz. rum, ½ oz. tequila, ½ oz. Triple Sec, ½ oz. Sweet & Sour, 1 oz. cranberry juice, and 7-Up. Pour all of the ingredients into a Collins glass with ice, stir, and then garnish with a cherry and cute mini umbrella.

When you’re out on the town, one of the fancier and expensive drinks is a ‘Long Island Iced Tea;’ try to make it yourself instead. This fun and tasty drink is made with ½ oz. vodka, ½ oz. gin, ½ oz. rum, ½ oz. tequila, ½ oz. Triple Sec, 1 oz. Sweet & Sour, and Coke. Pour all of the ingredients into a Collins glass with ice, stir, and then garnish with a lemon wedge.

A ‘Malcolm Lowry’ is strong and intense; it’s made with 1 scoop of crushed ice, ¾ lemon or lime juice, ¾ oz. Cointreau, ¾ oz. white rum, and 1 oz. Mescal. Mix it all in a shaker with crushed ice, serve in a cocktail glass that has a salted rim. Another fun and fruity tequila drink is a ‘Melange A Trois.’ It’s made with 1.5 oz. Herradura reposado Tequila, ½ oz. pomegranate juice, 1.5 oz. fresh lime juice, and 1.5 oz. Agave Nectar. Combine the ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake to mix, and then pour all of it into a rock glass. Garnish with a cherry and lime. Enjoy you tequila nights.
