Create your own whiskey cocktail party to entertain all of your friends!

When you want the ideal whiskey drink to heat you up on a cool night, try ‘Irish Coffee.’ It’s made with 1.5 oz. Irish whiskey, 1 tsp. brown sugar, 6 oz. hot coffee, and heavy cream. Combine the whiskey, sugar, and coffee in a mug and stir to dissolve. Float cold cream gently on top. Make sure not to mix it after that.

Create the classic ‘Manhattan.’ Combine ¼ c. rye whiskey, 2 tablespoons sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of angostura bitters in a glass filled with ice. Stir until outside of the glass is very cold; strain into a Nick & Nora glass, and then garnish with 1 cherry.

There’s nothing better than a lovely ‘Bourbon Sweet Tea’ on a hot summer day; it’s made with 3 c. water, ½ c. sugar, 3 black tea bags, 1 lemon sliced into wedges, 1 lime sliced into wedges, 1 orange sliced into wedges, 1 c. bourbon, and a lemon wheel garnish. To make the tea, combine the water and sugar in a small saucepan, and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Pour the sugar water into a jar, add the teabags, and let steep for 5-10 minutes. The stronger you want your tea to be, the longer you’ll want to leave it in the water. Remove the tea bags and add lemon, lime, and orange wedges. Pour in the bourbon; cover the jar and chill. Serve in small glasses and garnish with thin lemon wheels.

Enjoy a classic cocktail that you may have forgotten about; ‘Remember The Maine’ is sweet in all of the right places. It’s made with 2 oz. rye whiskey, ¾ oz. sweet vermouth, 2 tsp. Cherry Heering liqueur, and ½ tsp. Absinthe. Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing glass and fill with cracked ice; stir well for at least 30 seconds, and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry for added color and flavor.
