EXCITING ALCOHOLIC SHOTS

Picking an alcoholic shot that you may like is much more difficult than just asking a bartender for a shot of vodka or tequila. There are so many choices that it could become overwhelming. Here are some amazing and unique recipes that are easy to make at home: ‘Nuts ‘n Berries’ shot. It’s made with ½ oz. Lemon Vodka, ¼ oz. Hazelnut Liqueur, and ½ oz. Cranberry Juice. You will place all three ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, and then you will shake to blend and chill it. After, strain into a shot glass. Another great and tasty one is called ‘chocolate cake.’ It’s made with ½ oz. Hazelnut Liqueur, ½ oz. Vodka, and lemon & sugar garnish. The first thing you’ll do is coat the lemon wedge with sugar and set that aside. Then add the liquid ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill. Strain into a shot glass. You will take the shot quickly, and then immediately bite and suck the sugar coated lemon. It’s fun and great for parties. For those that love coffee, a ‘Mind Eraser’ may be a good drink for you. It’s made with 1 ¼ oz. Coffee Liqueur, ¾ oz. Vodka, and a splash of Club Soda. All you do to make it is build the ingredients over ice, and then drink it with a straw. A cute name for a drink, and an even cuter tasting drink is the ‘Scooby Snack.’ It’s made with ¼ oz. Coconut Rum, ¼ oz. Crème de Bananes, ¼ oz. Melon Liqueur, ¼ oz. Pineapple Juice, and ¼ oz. of Half & Half. You will pour all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to blend and chill. Then strain into a shot glass. You can also double the ingredients of this drink to make a nice and refreshing beverage on the rocks. Whatever you choose to make, just make sure to enjoy it.
