Suntory's flagship single malt whisky makes its way to Country Wine & Spirits. The Yamazaki 12 Year Old made its mark in the 1980s and, since then, has become one of the most iconic singlemalts to ever come from Japan.

The Yamazaki 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is aged in American, Spanish, and Japanese Mizunara oak. Typically coming in at 43% ABV, this bottle opens with peach, pineapple, grapefruit, clove, candied orange, vanilla, and Mizunara (Japanese oak). On the palate, it’s coconut, cranberry, and butter notes. The finish gives you sweet ginger and cinnamon.

Was given the Supreme Champion Spirit trophy at the International Spirits Challenge in 2024. It was also the first-ever Japanese whisky to win gold at the International Spirits Challenge in 2003. It also won the same award in 2010, 2018, 2021, and 2022.
