Vodkow Vodka (750Ml)

Description

Vodkow Vodka is made from milk, not grain. The Dairy Distillery in Almonte, Ontario, starts with milk permeate. That is the sugar-rich liquid left once fats and proteins leave skim milk. A special yeast, found with help from University of Ottawa scientists, turns the lactose into alcohol.

The spirit is triple distilled and blended with Lanark pure spring water. It is naturally lactose-free and gluten-free. Founder Omid McDonald and his cousin Neal opened the distillery in November 2018. In 2022, it won Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The nose is clean, with no milky smell and a light hint of vanilla. On the palate, you get a crisp, clean vodka with a soft, creamy sweetness. The finish is smooth and gentle.
