Tincup 10 Year American Whiskey is a sourced whiskey with a Colorado accent. The whiskey spends ten years in American oak barrels with a #3 char. The grains are corn, rye and malted barley. It’s cut to 84 proof with Rocky Mountain water before bottling. The cap doubles as a little tin cup, a nod to Colorado’s early gold miners.

Lift the glass and you’ll get caramel and vanilla first. Gentle oak and warm baking spice follow. It smells soft and sweet rather than loud.

On the palate, caramel, vanilla and brown sugar lead the way. A bright twist of citrus peel keeps it lively. Rye spice hums underneath, with a fair bit of oak. The finish brings light spice that fades into vanilla and dry oak.
