The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired By Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea is a limited single malt Scotch. It came out in 2025 as part of the fifth Harmony release, made with the tea experts at JING. The tea behind it is a rare oolong from the Phoenix Mountains of Guangdong, China. That tea is loved for its dessert-wine aroma and exotic fruit notes. (Whisky Magazine)

The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team matured it mainly in sherry-seasoned American oak. Sherry-seasoned European oak adds depth. A small share of casks that once held bourbon brings extra lift. The result pours a warm honey color.

Lift the glass and you will find summery peach, apricot, floral honey, tropical fruit, toffee and sweet oak. On the palate come peaches in syrup, warm citrus and soft floral notes. A gentle, leafy dryness nods to the tea. The finish is fruity, sweet and complex. (Whisky Magazine)

The presentation box is a nice detail too. Its paper includes waste tea leaves that were not fit for drinking. It reflects the care for the planet behind the whole Harmony Collection.
