Description

Teremana Blanco is the small-batch blanco tequila from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. It is made at Destilería Teremana de Agave, in a small town in the Jalisco Highlands. The name joins "tere," for earth, with "mana," a Polynesian word for spirit.

The team starts with 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Highlands. The agave roasts in brick ovens for three days before it is shredded. Its juice ferments in open tanks. It is then distilled in copper pot stills made by a local craftsman on site.

Pour it and you'll pick up bright citrus and fresh agave right away. On the palate it's crisp and clean, with lemon and lime over a soft agave core. The finish is smooth and fresh. A 1.5 oz pour has about 96 calories, with no sugar or carbs, and it is certified gluten free.

This is a friendly mixer. Build a Margarita, a Paloma or a simple tequila soda with plenty of lime. Serve it alongside tacos, grilled shrimp or fresh salsa.
